We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our State and Local Sales and Use Tax team at RSM US LLP. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales and use tax advisory and planning services to multi-state companies, as well as driving business development and growth within the tax practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert sales and use tax advisory and planning services to clients, including nexus studies, exposure quantification, and voluntary disclosures.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to grow the State and Local tax practice, including cross-selling and new client relationships.
  • Serve as a career advisor, mentor, or coach to team members, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their career goals.
  • Collaborate with clients, local and regional RSM teams, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality tax advice and services.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and use tax consulting, with a strong background in state and local tax laws and regulations.
  • CPA, CMI, JD, or LLM certification required.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

RSM US LLP offers a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $137,700 - $276,700, as well as a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
