Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing retailer accounts, prospecting and closing new business opportunities, and managing sales towards these retailers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Motorola's product portfolio and possess excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute a strategy to maximize revenue growth and profitability, and discover new business opportunities.
- Meet assigned sales targets and analyze competitors to develop sales plans.
- Ability to quickly learn new product key characteristics and communicate their value to employees and customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and current clients, and expand the client database within the assigned territory.
- A strong retailer network in 3C, beauty, and care & home appliances is a plus.
- 2 years of experience in B2B sales in the retail industry, with a focus on the mentioned industries.
- Previous law enforcement/public safety experience is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate product features and benefits.
- Solid experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Understanding of IT sales to Commercial accounts, Motorola's portfolio, competitive landscape, and customer procurement processes.
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in various conditions.
Travel Requirements:Must have the ability to travel as needed.
Job Type:Full-time Commission
Salary:$55,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
