Accounts Receivable Associate

DuraTech Industries, a leading global Printing Manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Accounting Team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting principles, practices, and procedures knowledge, with the ability to work with manual and automated systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately complete all accounts receivable functions, following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Ensure professional contact with internal and external customers and vendors.
  • Process and post receipts, including checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments.
  • Investigate and resolve customer inquiries and deductions/adjustments from payments.
  • Reconcile accounts and send out customer statements.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments, and other irregularities.
  • Carry out collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
  • Maintain accounts receivable customer files and add customers as requested by customer service.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in accounting preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' experience in accounting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to organize resources and establish priorities while performing complex tasks and multiple projects.
  • Ability to work with confidential information and adapt to a changing work environment.
  • Ability to work well with people in a professional manner, especially when dealing with delinquent accounts.
  • Ability to work independently without continued support from others.
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations with speed and accuracy on a 10-key (by touch).
