Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Knowledge Manager to lead our knowledge management initiatives in the DMV area. Key Responsibilities:
Manage knowledge management initiatives, including monitoring and measuring the application of knowledge management using metrics linked to project goals and objectives, to ensure that project teams are delivering on their accountabilities and applying the knowledge base in accordance with instructions.
Advise knowledge management teams on projects on waivers or exceptions to knowledge management plans and resolving conflicts between knowledge reference material and new requirements for knowledge management training.
Collaborate with various departments to develop and enhance knowledge management processes.
Possess strong communication and leadership skills and remain up to date with industry trends and best practices in knowledge management.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of nine (9) years of relevant experience.
Bachelor's degree in a knowledge management, management information systems (IS), library and information science, or related business, education, or IT disciplines.
Four (4) years of additional experience is required with a high school diploma; two (2) years of additional experience is required with an associate's degree
A master's degree may be considered in lieu of two (2) years of experience; a Ph.D. can be considered in lieu of four (4) years of experience
Five (5) years of experience in developing policies, procedures, and governances for document management control, records management, knowledge management, online library management, or related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in a knowledge management, management information systems (MIS), business administration, or related business, library science, or information science disciplines.
Relevant industry standard certifications such as knowledge management institute, certified knowledge manager (CKM); institute of certified records managers (ICRM), certified records manager.
Clearance Requirements:
Must possess an active Top Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
The projected compensation range for this position is $114,100-$190,000. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, contract wage determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (for remote opportunities), education and certifications as well as federal government contract labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in its employees beyond just compensation.
