Position Responsibilities
As a Sales Account Executive at SSC, your primary responsibility will be to enhance our revenue streams by cultivating relationships with both new and existing clients for our sustainability services. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of our offerings, including life cycle assessments, LEED certification, waste management solutions, energy evaluations, and operational sustainability assessments. You will be expected to:
- Identify and develop new client accounts while meeting sales objectives
- Engage strategically with customers to build strong relationships and lay the groundwork for consulting sales
- Manage lead generation and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Close sales opportunities efficiently and effectively
- Collaborate with various teams within SSC to create project budgets and scopes
- Ensure the accuracy and quality of CRM data

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Engineering, or Construction Management
- 3-5+ years of sales experience in manufacturing, construction, environmental, or sustainability sectors
- A strong passion for sales and the ability to engage with C-level executives
- Proficiency in building relationships through education and selling technical sustainability solutions
- Familiarity with sustainability pricing models
- Proven track record of managing multiple client accounts
- Experience generating over $2 million in annual sales
- Ability to effectively generate sales leads
- Experience with CRM systems for managing contracts and leads
- Preference for candidates with sustainable operations or LEED experience
- Strong presentation and technical writing capabilities
- Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Work Environment
This position offers remote work flexibility with occasional travel for on-site meetings as necessary.
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is between $85,000 and $100,000 annually, plus a commission structure based on performance.
