As a member of the Nave Newell team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex projects, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in the field.
We are currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer - Project Manager with a solid background in the design of residential and commercial subdivisions and land developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site layout and land development planning
- Commercial and residential project planning
- Design of grading and utility systems
- Erosion and sedimentation control strategies
- Environmental permitting processes, including NPDES compliance
- Design of sanitary and stormwater piping systems
- Horizontal and vertical roadway alignment
- Stormwater management solutions
- Floodplain modeling and hydraulic analysis
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of relevant engineering design experience
- B.S. in Civil Engineering; Professional Engineering license is mandatory
- Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D
- Familiarity with Civil 3D Styles and surfaces is a plus
- Experience in site layout, grading, and profiling is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team
- Experience with HEC-RAS is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outcomes
- Effective presentation skills for client and stakeholder interactions
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams
