Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Project Manager at Flatland Energy Services, LLC plays a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of project execution from inception to completion. Key responsibilities encompass managing daily operations, project strategizing, scheduling, financial oversight, quality assurance, contract management, safety protocols, resource allocation, and maintaining relationships with stakeholders such as owners and architects.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Directs daily operations and resolves issues pertaining to the successful completion of construction projects, including comprehensive project planning, scheduling, financial tracking, quality assurance, contract management, safety oversight, and coordination with labor and equipment resources.
  • Supervises construction initiatives from initiation to conclusion by utilizing the Flatland Energy Services (FES) pre-planning framework, creating a Master Project Schedule that is updated monthly and shared with all relevant subcontractors, suppliers, owners, architects, and field teams.
  • Establishes a Master Variance for the financial accounting of the entire project prior to commencement, adhering to FES master variance protocols, and ensures timely coding of all invoices from subcontractors, suppliers, equipment, and labor according to Company Guidelines.
  • Administers all contracts, payment requests, change orders, Requests for Information (RFIs), and Architect Supplemental Instructions (ASIs) with the Owner and Architect promptly, including follow-ups on outstanding invoices.
  • Drafts and manages all subcontracts and purchase orders in accordance with company policies, ensuring all documentation is accurately completed and duly signed.
  • Reviews shop drawings for all project components in a timely manner to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Guarantees that all materials are delivered according to the contract schedule to prevent delays in field operations.
  • Coordinates with architects and engineers to ensure there are no hindrances to progress based on internal timelines.
  • Communicates any arising issues to the Division Manager effectively.
  • Ensures that all work executed meets the quality standards outlined in the project plans and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a collaborative team environment focused on project-based work.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
