SUMMARY

The Treasury Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to established protocols for End of Day Audits, Balances, and Daily Certification Processing, achieving an accuracy rate exceeding 95% independently.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

AUTHORIZATIONS

  • Prepares and issues expense authorizations – Monthly Documentation; Third Party invoices.
  • Inputs Expense Authorizations for Third Party invoices into the Certification system.
  • Reviews and approves expense authorizations.
  • Communicates with clients via follow-up emails regarding the approval status of Third-Party invoices in the Certification system.
  • Facilitates online expense payments for clients through various banking institutions.
  • Compiles daily online spreadsheets for payments for banking transactions.
  • Generates daily PDF documentation for submission to banking institutions for expense payment processing.
  • Investigates and resolves inquiries related to Expense processing, including issues from Fund Accounting, missing payments, and requests for payment references.

PAYMENTS

  • Manages and monitors payments for both internal and external stakeholders.

TREASURY

  • Maintains oversight of daily Certification expenses directed to Treasury for processing.
  • Conducts End of Day Audits and reconciliations.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

  • Engages with clients as necessary for general information, issue resolution, inquiries, or reporting needs.
  • Collaborates with team members and internal departments for follow-up on inquiries and workflow management.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience in Mutual Fund servicing.
  • Familiarity with online banking and all operational aspects of Treasury Operations.

KNOWLEDGE

  • Understanding of the service requirements of Mutual Funds, their vendors, and Advisors.
  • Proficiency in online banking and account management.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
