The following outlines the responsibilities and requirements for this position:
Prior experience with electric pallet jacks and stand-up forklifts is required.
This position typically operates on a 4-day work week, with hours extending until tasks are completed. There may be occasions where assistance in other areas is needed.
- Utilize hand jacks and various Material Handling Equipment, demonstrating proficiency in operating equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and more.
- Engage in material handling tasks for the majority of the work shift.
- Accurately select and prepare customer orders to ensure complete fulfillment.
- Document and receive inbound products, including affixing pallet tags and marking materials with identifying information.
- Organize items on racks, shelves, or bins as necessary.
- Implement stock rotation practices to ensure older stock is prioritized for picking.
- Perform physical tasks, including heavy lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
