Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grants Manager to join our team at the North Fork Rancheria Of Mono Indians Of California. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional and technical assistance in research, preparation, and application submission of Tribal grants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Grant Development and Research
    • Develop and implement strategies for identifying and securing grant funding opportunities
    • Conduct research and analysis to identify potential grant sources and develop grant proposals
  • Grant Writing and Submission
    • Write and edit grant proposals, reports, and other grant-related documents
    • Ensure timely submission of grant applications and reports
  • Grant Management and Compliance
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with grant requirements and regulations
    • Coordinate and manage grant-related activities and projects
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain relationships with funding agencies, community partners, and Tribal departments
    • Communicate grant-related information and updates to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, management, planning, or related field
    • At least two years of experience in grant development, writing, and management
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Strong knowledge of grant writing, research, and management principles
    • Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions

The Grants Manager will work in an office environment with frequent contact with staff and the public. The position requires occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
