Position Overview

Join WSB LLC, a firm dedicated to fostering a culture that drives success through collaboration and innovative thinking. We are currently expanding our Pipeline division and are seeking dedicated professionals for the role of Natural Gas Pipeline Compliance Inspector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of natural gas pipeline construction to ensure compliance with safety standards and client specifications.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of federal, local, and company regulations related to pipeline construction.
  • Perform field observations and document findings electronically, including daily reports and photographic evidence.
  • Review and verify construction plans, tracking materials and ensuring accuracy in documentation.
  • Engage in physical inspections of excavation, installation, and restoration processes related to natural gas pipelines.
  • Work flexible hours, typically ranging from 40 to 60 hours per week, with potential travel requirements.
  • Utilize technology to document site conditions and flag proposed utility routes.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Strong technical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Background in construction or inspection is essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in ongoing random testing.
  • Physical capability to lift weights between 50 lbs. and 75 lbs. as required.

Applicants should be prepared to work in various weather conditions and possess the physical stamina to perform tasks that may involve kneeling, crawling, or working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CFR49/192/195 regulations or certification as a Welding Inspector (AWS CWI or CPWI+V).
  • A technical degree in civil engineering construction or a related field is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of construction methodologies and utility mapping is a plus.
