Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technician to join our team at State Systems, Inc. in Memphis, Tennessee. As a Low Voltage Technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing commercial fire alarms, access control systems, electronic security systems, and other low voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and program fire alarm systems
  • Install and program access control systems
  • Perform tasks related to CCTV, intrusion detection, and low voltage communications
  • Service and provide preventive maintenance on low voltage systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using testing devices
  • Ensure compliance with electrical and fire safety codes
  • Work independently or as part of a team
  • Maintain and take care of equipment
Requirements:
  • Advanced technical school training or related work experience
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, including electric and battery-powered equipment
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Demonstrate problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Lift 10-50 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally
