Job Description

As the Executive Director of Operations at Estiatorio Milos, you will be responsible for ensuring that all levels of service are aligned with our core values. This includes:

  • Leading by Example: You will work on the floor to demonstrate our commitment to exceptional service and ensure that all staff members are following our core values.
  • Building Relationships: As a Milos Ambassador, you will foster strong relationships with our guests and ensure that they have an exceptional dining experience.
  • Establishing Standards: You will establish and oversee the implementation of policies and standard operating procedures to improve the operational effectiveness of the restaurant.
  • Driving Growth: You will consistently evaluate food, beverage, and other service offerings to ensure guest satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Community Engagement: You will work with the community to set up events that align with our core values and promote our brand.
  • Strategic Planning: You will work with Human Resources and Operations to align on recruitment and retention strategies, ensure training and orientation processes are respected, and maintain accurate records of new employee information.
  • Marketing and Communications: You will work with our internal Communications department to report on special events and develop marketing-related materials based on your knowledge of local demographics.
  • Team Management: You will foster an effective and efficient work environment, meet regularly with FOH and BOH staff to manage the flow of service, and ensure sufficient support.
  • Compliance and Safety: You will ensure enforcement and compliance with health and safety protocols and ensure the restaurant meets projected financial targets.
  • Guest Experience: You will oversee floor management and the overall guest experience from arrival through departure, checking in with guests during their stay.
  • Menu Management: You will keep up to date with menu offerings and ingredients, update menus as required, and communicate these changes to all staff members.
  • Communication Skills: You will speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and respond confidently and swiftly to guest inquiries.
