Job Summary:

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth at LensCrafters. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for cultivating customer relationships, recommending optical solutions, and ensuring every patient and customer has a positive experience in every LensCrafters store.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by building strong relationships with customers and recommending personalized optical solutions.
  • Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings, ensuring customers receive the best possible vision care.
  • Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to provide a seamless customer experience.
  • Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed to ensure accurate results.
  • Contribute to a positive store environment by fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store appearance, ensuring displays and inventory are attractive and well-maintained.
  • Embody an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect and dignity.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ year of experience in retail or customer service.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
  • Ability to sell through effective use of sales skills and accountability for sales results.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written).
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
