Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Research Financial Analyst to support our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight and Compliance:
- Implement tasks aligned with the objectives of Research Financial Operations.
- Collaborate with researchers and study teams to ensure accurate billing for clinical trials.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable, Reconciliation, and Closeout Processes related to clinical trials.

Role Specific Duties:
- Guarantee accurate invoicing in accordance with institutional guidelines, working closely with relevant parties.
- Monitor startup and ongoing fees to maximize reimbursement for clinical trial activities.
- Generate revenue reports and act as a liaison with the research finance department.

Analytical and Organizational Skills:
- Effectively prioritize tasks across various functional areas.
- Exhibit initiative and sound judgment in all responsibilities.
- Prepare thoroughly for meetings and maintain organized records.

Quality Assurance and Reporting:
- Assist in the development of quality control measures and maintain documentation of formal submissions.
- Support departmental functions related to industry-sponsored research.

Continuous Improvement:
- Follow established procedures and contribute to staff training initiatives.
- Engage in Continuous Improvement practices and resolve exceptions efficiently.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline is required. A minimum of 3 years of experience in invoicing, post-award finance, or accounting within healthcare or research environments is essential.

Advanced skills in database management and spreadsheet applications (Excel) along with strong verbal and written communication abilities are crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, 3 years of experience in finance/accounting, proficiency in PeopleSoft financial systems and Excel, strong Microsoft Office capabilities, and familiarity with Clinical Trials Management Systems.
