The N-Tech Systems Engineering division at Netflix is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience, fostering collaboration, and boosting productivity for our global workforce and support teams.

As a pivotal engineering team, we strive to eliminate obstacles, streamline workflows through increased automation, and deliver technical solutions that empower our employees to focus on crafting captivating stories for our audience worldwide.

This position will center on engineering solutions for Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and Google Workspace products.



Key Responsibilities:


As a vital member of the N-Tech Systems Engineering team, your role will involve developing tools and services that underpin Netflix's Active Directory framework.

You will implement and uphold security protocols, access controls, and group memberships within Active Directory.


Your expertise will guide the technical strategy and provide insights on the deployment of Microsoft Azure and Google Workspace products and services through collaboration with stakeholders and a deep understanding of business requirements.


Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to design and implement solutions that align with the needs of our stakeholders and the business.


You will assist in maintaining and documenting services managed by the team to ensure our operational guides and processes remain current.


Participation in a weekly on-call rotation with the team will be required, where you will address operational inquiries during business hours and be available for emergency responses during off-hours.

Stay informed about the latest trends and technologies relevant to the N-Tech Systems Engineering service portfolio.



Qualifications:
Experience in Systems Engineering, particularly in supporting and managing Active Directory, Microsoft Azure, and Google Workspace within an Enterprise Environment.

A robust background in designing scalable, reliable, and efficient systems, including an understanding of trade-offs in system design, fault tolerance, recovery strategies, and best practices in distributed systems.
Essential Skills:
Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages, such as Python, JavaScript, or Go.

Experience with APIs for integration and ETL automation.


Ability to adhere to established enterprise standards, processes, and procedures to ensure timely delivery of engineering projects with high-quality outcomes.

Capability to manage and maintain AWS infrastructure to support production systems.



Familiarity with SDLC and project management methodologies, including agile, scrum, and iterative approaches.

Exposure to directory services and cloud identity providers (Okta, Google, Azure AD/Entra ID).

Skilled in producing technical documentation that effectively communicates business impact.

Experience with CI/CD for code deployment.

Our compensation framework consists solely of an annual salary; we do not offer bonuses. Each year, you have the flexibility to choose how much of your compensation you wish to receive in salary versus stock options.

To establish your competitive market compensation, we consider market indicators alongside your specific job family, background, skills, and experience.

The compensation range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.
