About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented System Architect to contribute to our portfolio company by innovating system solutions tailored for data centers.

Company Overview
A German technology firm specializing in advanced microchip design and manufacturing. Our startup is dedicated to providing energy-efficient, high-performance components across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and design electrical and photonic architectures for data centers and high-performance computing systems.
  • Establish and convey design methodologies and specifications.
  • Guide the definition of system architecture for designated projects, ensuring coherence and compatibility.
  • Offer technical leadership for System Design initiatives, participating in discussions and facilitating solutions.
  • Conduct feature and cost trade-off assessments.
  • Direct the electrical team in execution and validation processes.
  • Collaborate with engineering managers and design engineers to formulate development strategies.
  • Evaluate test plan requirements.
  • Supervise experimental testing and component selection.
  • Ensure effective integration of product designs.
  • Generate and maintain essential documentation.
  • Guarantee manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in semiconductor product development.
  • Familiarity with thermal management and communication protocols.
  • Insight into chip communication and silicon photonics.
  • Strong understanding of both analog and digital design.
  • Experience with infrastructure, particularly in data centers.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, along with relevant experience.
