Multi-Level Assembler

At SEC Energy, we are seeking a skilled Multi-Level Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our assembly department, you will be responsible for assembling and installing skid-mounted components, performing pneumatic and mechanical tests, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and install skid-mounted components, including pumps, vessels, pipe, pipe supports, structural supports, belts, pulleys, and machine guards.
- Perform pneumatic and mechanical tests on assembled components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Disassemble components to replace defective parts or prepare them for shipping.
- Operate a variety of portable hand, electric, and air-powered tools, including impact wrenches, torque wrenches, combination wrenches, sockets, ratchets, band saws, and grinders.
- Operate stationary tools, such as bench grinders, iron workers, drill presses, and chop saws.
- Operate lifting equipment, including overhead cranes and jib cranes.
- Record serial numbers and other information as required in the ITP (inspection test plan).
- Report problems to the line supervisor and actively participate in resolving them.
- Perform job duties in a safe manner and according to company safety procedures.
- Report potentially unsafe equipment and safety hazards to the supervisor for immediate resolution.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with all departments and workers.
- Actively participate in the development of Assembler I and other employees.
- Minimum of 0-2 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent work experience.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read tape measures and rulers in increments of 1/16.
- Basic mathematical ability to add and subtract fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
- Basic knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the assembly department.

- Lifting up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
- Walking and standing frequently.
- Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions, and some heavy lifting.
- Works in industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
