Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and install steel structures, including platforms, stairs, ladders, and supports, using various materials and techniques.
  • Read and interpret shop notes, general arrangement diagrams, and process flow diagrams to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
  • Operate a variety of hand, electric, and air-powered tools, including impact wrenches, torque wrenches, and grinders.
  • Operate stationary tools, such as bench grinders and drill presses, to fabricate and assemble components.
  • Work safely and efficiently, adhering to company safety procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in compression-related assembly or field environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to read tape measures and rulers in increments of 1/16".
  • Basic mathematical ability to add and subtract fractions, decimals, and whole numbers.
  • Familiarity with Safety and OSHA requirements.
Working Conditions:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 30 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment, including eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and safety work boots.
