This is a contract role for an agency Fastening Engineer at OEM in Dearborn, MI. The Fastening Engineer will be responsible for designing, testing, and implementing fastening solutions for automotive components.


Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop fastening solutions for automotive components
Conduct analysis and testing to ensure quality and reliability of fastening systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement fastening solutions
Develop and maintain knowledge of fastening technologies, joining methods, materials, and fastener design

Requirements:
2 or more years experience in Manufacturing Engineering
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work on-site in Dearborn, MI
Travel required - outside of SE Michigan

Additional Information:
The position will be Hybrid. Mainly in the Dearborn area but will require work in our plants across North America. (travel required). Travel should be about 10-20%, depends on installation issues and program install timing.
