About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at the Office of Financial Management. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our software applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coach QA testers to ensure high-quality software delivery
  • Develop and maintain testing strategies and plans
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks
  • Conduct regular testing and quality assurance activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in QA methodology and tools
  • Experience with source control systems (e.g. Git, Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps)
  • 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with testing applications using modern technologies (e.g. Angular, NGRX, RXJS, SCSS, Dotnet core, Web API, Node)
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks design and development, test automation, deployment automation, integration, build automation
  • Senior-level experience in enterprise systems and current testing technologies and methods
