Job Title: Quality Assurance Supervisor

At Pilgrim's, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Supervisor to join our team. This role is responsible for supervising Food Safety and Quality (FSQA) personnel and implementing quality programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate the activities of the FSQA team to ensure implementation of quality and food safety programs.
  • Monitor team member safety and report any unsafe acts to prevent workplace incidents.
  • Recommend new quality policies and procedures to ensure high-quality products and services.
  • Communicate programs and procedures to the FSQA team and other plant team members through training and education.
  • Interface with facility teams to assist in problem-solving and root cause analysis.
  • Manage the team of hourly/SNE QA Technicians, including Kronos Timekeeping System.
Requirements:
  • Previous supervisory experience required.
  • Previous experience in poultry further processing or slaughter preferred.
  • Understanding of USDA and OSHA regulations.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SAP experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and oral presentation skills.
  • Good leadership skills and technical reading and writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exhibit Pilgrim's values.
Work Environment:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be exposed to both an office environment and the production environment of wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.
