Clinical Nurse Educator

Martin Luther King Jr. Community Hospital seeks a skilled Clinical Nurse Educator to provide education and support to our nursing staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing education and experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities- Assess practice gaps and identify learning needs in nursing staff
- Develop and implement educational strategies to improve nursing practice
- Evaluate progress and make recommendations for improvement
- Integrate ethics, maintain current knowledge, and support evidence-based practice and research
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; Master's in Nursing or Nursing related required
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience and a minimum two (2) years educator experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Current California Nursing license
- Certification in Staff Development or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) preferred
- Experience with implementation of an EMR preferred
- Bilingual skills (Spanish)
- Basic computer skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
