Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Educator to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital. As a Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff in assigned units.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement educational programs that meet the needs of staff and patients
- Assess practice gaps and identify learning needs
- Design and deliver educational content that is engaging and effective
- Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with inter-professional teams to facilitate nursing practice and positive outcomes for consumers
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; Master's in Nursing or Nursing related required
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience and a minimum two (2) years educator experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Current California Nursing license
- Certification in Staff Development or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish)
- Basic computer skills
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
