Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Educator to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff in assigned units.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of nursing staff
- Conduct needs assessments to identify learning gaps and develop targeted educational interventions
- Collaborate with inter-professional teams to facilitate nursing practice and positive outcomes for consumers
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives
- Provide educational support to staff on new technologies and equipment
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to nursing education
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; Master's in Nursing or Nursing related required
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience and a minimum two (2) years educator experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Current California Nursing license
- Certification in Staff Development or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) preferred
- Experience with implementation of an EMR preferred
- Bilingual skills preferred (Spanish)
