Nurse Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Educator to join our team at Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital. As a Nurse Educator, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing educational programs for clinical and non-clinical staff in assigned units.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement educational programs that align with hospital objectives and regulatory requirements
- Conduct competency assessments and evaluations to ensure staff meet regulatory and professional standards
- Collaborate with inter-professional teams to facilitate nursing practice and positive outcomes for consumers
- Develop and maintain educational materials and resources to support staff learning needs
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Bachelor of Science degree in nursing; Master's in Nursing or Nursing related required
- Minimum of three (3) years of clinical nursing experience and a minimum two (2) years educator experience in an acute care setting preferred
- Current California Nursing license
- Certification in Staff Development or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) preferred
- Experience with implementation of an EMR
- Bilingual skills (Spanish)
