Overview

Your role will involve continuous monitoring of the enterprise security landscape, collaborating with IT professionals and business leaders to ensure our defenses are strong, audits are thorough, and compliance requirements are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities

Expertise in Frameworks:

Serve as the primary authority on security and compliance frameworks relevant to our operations, including but not limited to CMMC, CIS, Cyber Essentials, and GDPR.


Documentation of Policies and Standards:
Create, adapt, publish, and provide training on corporate policies and standards related to security and privacy. Work alongside HR to establish a cohesive framework.

Risk Assessment:
Analyze the implementation options for standards based on risk. Facilitate decision-making frameworks that consider operational and financial risks.

Implementation of Controls:

Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to strategize and execute the necessary controls to fulfill our security and compliance obligations.


Preparation for Audits:
Ensure all business units are ready for audits according to applicable frameworks. Maintain documentation and evidence while addressing any findings.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the industry.

Minimum of 6 years in security, privacy, or legal sectors.

At least 2 years in a leadership or program management capacity.

Experience of 2+ years in implementing Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC), NIST moderate, or NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) programs.

Proven ability to convey technical controls succinctly for executive audiences.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

In-depth understanding of risk management frameworks.

Strong grasp of technical solutions necessary for implementing security controls.

Preferred Qualifications

Professional certification, particularly Cyber AB certification, is highly desirable.

Experience in a mid-sized, multi-divisional organization.

Significant background in IT Systems or Network administration.

Familiarity with TOGAF or similar Enterprise Architecture frameworks.

Experience in implementing security and compliance measures within a manufacturing context.
