Job Summary

This is a challenging role that requires a strong leader to oversee the quality of ingredients and finished products at PepsiCo. The Quality Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the company's high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Quality Technicians and Product Batching Technicians to ensure the quality of products.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance standards and processes to align with company goals.
  • Oversee the execution of key food safety pre-requisite programs such as GMP compliance, sanitation, documentation and recordkeeping, regulatory audits, etc.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of process improvements and technical developments.
  • Build people capability through effective employee relations, hiring, training, and communication for both management and front-line hourly personnel.
  • Develop and oversee execution of on-boarding and new employee training plans to ensure compliance and effective execution of tasks to standard.
  • Deliver effective change leadership while driving business changes and minimizing people impact.
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to assist the team to solve operational issues.
  • Sets team goals and motivates team members to achieve goal.
  • Delivers employee performance reviews on an annual basis.
  • Ensures compliance with all health & safety regulations including food safety.
  • Oversees regulatory audits/inspections (i.e. AIB, FDA, ISO F2200 Standard, GHEMS).
  • Administer policies and procedures.
  • Regular and predictable attendance at the worksite.
  • This role requires regular presence on the plant floor.
  • This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
  • This role requires occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
  • This role may operate forklift and manufacturing equipment occasionally.
  • This role may require off-shift and weekend work.
  • This role may require some travel (less than 5%).
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Preferably in engineering, business, operations management, or similar field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Previous experience within the quality control department of a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably consumer packaged goods preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite applications.
  • Ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring skills.
  • Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills.
  • This position is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
  • The roles does NOT offer relocation assistance and onsite attendance is required.
Compensation and Benefits
  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $60,000 - $100,500.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
