Elevator Component Technical Support and Sales Role

Wittur USA, Inc. is a leading provider of components, modules, and systems for the elevator industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Elevator Component Technical Support and Sales professional to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with customers to identify and order spare parts, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
  • Process sales and warranty orders, document customer complaints, and create recommended spare parts quotes for new and existing equipment.
  • Establish and maintain strong interpersonal relationships with customers, fostering trust and loyalty.
  • Interact with various departments to process orders and warranties efficiently, meeting customer deadlines.
  • Conduct proactive calls to customers to assess their needs for spare parts, replacement, or training for purchased equipment.
  • Manage the company's website and web-shop, supporting the launch of new product lines.
  • Utilize engineering drawings to help customers identify required parts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to phone calls and emails in a professional manner that represents the company positively.
  • Issue return authorizations and follow up on returned parts, determining credit or repairs due.
  • Maintain a secure monthly safety stock in the Wittur USA facility.
  • Prepare reports, including weekly schedules and orders follow-up reports, to share with the Aftersales Manager.
  • Provide technical support and other tasks as assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
  • 4-year technical degree or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent education and work experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in industrial engineering, mechanical, electrical, or similar fields.
  • Proficiency in computer applications.
  • Excellent customer service skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to write reports, proposals, and business correspondence.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions, mathematical, or diagram form, and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
  • Knowledge of safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
