About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, cleanliness, and comfort of our residents, guests, and team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including repairs, replacements, and preventative maintenance on community equipment and facilities.
  • Assist with housekeeping duties, including cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing community spaces.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential safety hazards and maintenance issues.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in emergency response and disaster preparedness efforts.
Requirements
  • 1 year of maintenance and/or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Technical school education preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to respond to emergency calls outside of scheduled work hours.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
