Job Overview

The Store Manager, Starbucks, oversees the daily operations of a Starbucks store, ensuring a professional, safe, and profitable environment in adherence to all company standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage a team of employees to ensure adherence to company standards and best practices, including hiring, supervision, and ongoing training to maximize team performance and satisfaction.
  • Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that customers receive exceptional service by meeting the service basics of Connect, Anticipate, Personalize, and Own.
  • Operational Management: Take responsibility for daily store operations, including scheduling, payroll management, and overseeing the preparation and presentation of products to company standards.
  • Financial Acumen: Be accountable for sales, expenses, and bottom-line profits, utilizing forecasts, daily sales reports, and weekly financial reports to meet monthly profit/loss goals.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong working relationships with store management, effectively communicate with the team, and maintain role model standards in grooming, professional appearance, and communication.
Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of direct experience.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft reports and other communications; present to management and internal and external business partners; interpret technical documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule with retail hours, including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.
