Exceptional Veterinary ICU Caregiver Wanted

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary ICU Caregiver to join our dynamic team at Port City Veterinary Referral Hospital. As an integral part of our overnight shifts, you will be at the forefront of providing exceptional care to our hospitalized and ICU patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comprehensive Patient Care: Deliver top-notch care to a diverse range of patients, including postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, ICU patients, Urgent Care cases, oncology patients, and those requiring ophthalmologic attention.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Utilize expertise to collect samples, administer medications, and calculate dosages to ensure our patients receive the best treatment possible.
  • Critical Thinking: Triage critical cases, monitor patient vitals, and promptly report any changes in status to the attending doctor.
  • Empathetic Communication: Educate and update owners on their pet's condition and facilitate smooth patient discharges.
