Overview

Ethos Veterinary Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our dynamic team as an ICU Veterinary Technician in Portsmouth, NH.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Comprehensive Care: Provide top-notch care to a diverse range of patients, including postoperative surgical patients, internal medicine cases, ICU patients, urgent care cases, oncology patients, and those requiring ophthalmologic attention.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Utilize expertise to collect samples, administer medications, and calculate dosages to ensure patients receive the best treatment possible.
  • Critical Thinking: Triage critical cases, monitor patient vitals, and promptly report any changes in status to the attending doctor.
  • Empathetic Communication: Educate and update owners on their pet's condition and facilitate smooth patient discharges.
Work Schedule
  • Three 12-hour shifts; 7p – 7a
  • Rotating weekends
Compensation and Benefits
  • $20 - $35 hourly wage pending skills assessment leveling & credentialing
  • 15% overnight pay differential
  • Even higher for VTS
  • Up to $2000 sign on bonus paid out after 90 days of employment
