Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk will effectively assist the Accounting team to accurately maintain accounting information and to ensure that payments are processed within established time constraints.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payment Processing: Accurately process payments to ensure that payment occurs within established guidelines.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in project teams as assigned.
  • Financial Analysis: Accurately process business utilizing established guidelines and direction from the Senior Accounting staff.
  • Compliance: Ensure duties are performed in adherence to all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations.
  • Company Policies: Comply with guidelines, policies, and directives outlined in the company handbook and department manuals.
  • Customer Service: Provide timely, courteous, and quality customer service to customers.
  • Team Goals: Clearly demonstrate commitment and participation to team goals and objectives.
  • Attendance: Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education: Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Experience: 3 or more years experience in bookkeeping and accounting functions.
