As a Private Duty Nursing Specialist, you will be matched with patients based on your skill set, age, health condition, and acuity level, ensuring a personalized and effective care experience.

You will work 8-16 hour shifts, providing continuous care to patients transitioning home from the hospital. Our flexible scheduling options allow you to choose between full-time, part-time, or PRN positions, enabling you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Your Benefits:

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plan of care
  • Patient assessments and coordination of care
  • Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Compliant, timely documentation of care provided in system of record
  • Health promotion, teaching, and training of family members
  • Responsible for accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians as required
  • An active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state where you will practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
