Job Overview

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Private Duty Nurse to join our team. This role involves providing high-quality, one-on-one care to medically fragile patients in their homes.

About the Role
  • We offer competitive pay with an estimated annual salary of $$54,000 - $62,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
  • This part-time position requires working weekend nights, typically 8-16 hours per shift.
Responsibilities
  1. Deliver patient-centered care according to individualized plans, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
  2. Continuously assess and monitor patient conditions, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
  3. Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
  4. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  5. Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  6. Provide education and support to patients and their families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse (RN/LPN/LVN).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance with nursing care and policies and procedures.
  • One year of prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
