Job Description

We are searching for full-time, part-time, and PRN RNs who are compassionate and passionate about delivering exceptional care to our patients. Nursing positions at Family Tree Private Care enjoy flexible schedule options and a warm, positive work environment.

As a Home Health Nurse with us, you will be responsible for managing patient care plans according to physician instructions. Your duties will include:

  • Traveling to assigned patient homes to assess their condition and chart observations.
  • Completing evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
  • Dressing or redressing wounds and assessing healing progress.
  • Educating caregivers and family members on aftercare or ongoing patient care.
  • Providing palliative care to ensure patient comfort.
  • Recommending tools or devices to improve patient quality of life.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build personal rapport with patients and establish trust.
  • Initiative to make independent decisions when required.
  • The ability to follow instructions while also acting independently if necessary.
  • Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently.
  • Flexibility and patience to work in various living environments.
  • Knowledge of clinical skills including changing bandages, giving tube feedings, administering shots, and setting up and monitoring IVs.

Requirements include:

  • A valid license and certification as a Registered Nurse.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Strong candidates have a minimum of 1 year of experience working in the home care industry (or related industry - hospice, home health, hospital, etc.).

Estimated Salary: $65,000 per year
