Position OverviewRole Summary

The Revenue Assurance Analyst II plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of net revenue reporting in alignment with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for the designated healthcare facilities. This position is tasked with estimating contractual adjustments, bad debt, and charity reserves during the month-end closing process utilizing advanced analytical tools. While comprehensive training will be provided, a strong foundation in analytical skills is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly calculations of reserve estimates and prepare corresponding journal entries to accurately reflect these reserves in the financial records.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of monthly net revenue reports, providing detailed explanations of variances to be communicated to both regional and corporate finance teams.
  • Compile and review financial reports for month-end discussions with regional leadership, including the Chief Financial Officer.
  • Execute monthly reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Facilitate daily reconciliations between financial systems to maintain data integrity.
  • Consistently meet all reporting deadlines and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Provide training and support to new analysts on the use of analytical tools and reconciliation processes.
  • Organize and lead periodic training sessions to enhance team knowledge and efficiency.
  • Assist the Revenue Assurance Manager in reviewing analytical work and reports.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is required.
