Radar Systems Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Radar Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. The successful candidate will have a strong background in radar systems engineering and a passion for delivering innovative solutions.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of advanced radar systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical problems, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that system requirements are met.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of radar systems principles, including signal processing, antenna design, and system integration. They will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively present complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced radar systems, including radar transmitters, receivers, and signal processors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate radar systems with other electronic systems.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues related to radar systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and design documents.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, plus 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6 years of experience, or Ph.D. plus 4 years of experience.
  • Active DoD Secret clearance required.
  • Experience with signals processing, radar systems, and electronics systems performance analysis.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB, C/C++, Python, or related languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to learn and take initiative in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with air-to-air and/or air-to-ground modes.
  • Knowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down.
  • Demonstrated mathematical problem-solving ability and data analysis experience.

Salary: $114,900 - $172,300. Benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
