Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Radar Systems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. The successful candidate will have a strong background in system engineering and experience with radar systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced radar systems
- Develop mathematical algorithms for mode/sensor implementation
- Develop software to model behavior of systems in real-time and constructive simulations of sensors and other platforms
- Solicit input from various stakeholders, synthesize data, and communicate results to various levels of leadership within the organization
- Perform mission engineering activities to ensure continuity between desired operational capabilities and delivered system performance
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline
- 8 years of related professional/military experience in engineering
- Experience with signals processing and radar systems
- Experience with electronics systems performance analysis, test, or integration
- Knowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down, specification derivation, and interface control documentation
