Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Pathologist to join our team at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. As a Surgical Pathologist, you will play a critical role in diagnosing and treating patients with various types of cancer and other diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and interpret surgical specimens, including biopsies and resections, to determine the presence and extent of disease.
  • Perform and interpret advanced molecular diagnostics, including immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advances in pathology and molecular diagnostics.
Requirements
  • MD or DO degree and board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology.
  • Completion of a fellowship in a niche area is desirable.
  • Ability to obtain medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania prior to start date.
