The Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and Temple University Health System is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Pathologist and Cytopathologist to join its dynamic faculty.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert diagnosis and interpretation of surgical specimens, including gross and microscopic examination
- Contribute to the development and implementation of diagnostic protocols and procedures
- Participate in teaching and research activities, including mentoring junior faculty and students
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and treatment
- M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent with board certification or board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology and/or Cytopathology
- Ability to obtain medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Desirable: completion of a fellowship in a niche area, such as GI, Breast, or Head & Neck pathology
