Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert assistance to customers via phone, email, and in-person at our facility
  • Help customers obtain the products they need to keep their operations running smoothly
  • Interact extensively with customers to clarify their needs, research, and recommend products
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals while increasing customer satisfaction
  • Provide quotes, take orders, and offer post-order support
  • Physically measure specifications on a wide variety of products
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience
  • Mechanical and mathematical aptitude
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Ability and desire to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Strong computer skills, particularly Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR)
  • SAP/ERP experience, preferred
  • Knowledge of industrial distribution products and hydraulics, preferred
