Role Responsibilities:
The Veterinary Internal Medicine Technician will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care for a diverse range of medical conditions under the supervision of our Internal Medicine specialists. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting technician appointments and assisting veterinarians during consultations.
- Managing anesthesia and supporting various medical procedures.
- Facilitating effective communication with clients, addressing inquiries and providing updates on patient status.
- Documenting medical records accurately within the hospital's management system.
- Preparing examination and treatment areas, ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for use.
- Collecting vital signs, medical histories, and performing laboratory tests as required.
- Administering medications and assisting with diagnostic procedures as directed by the veterinarian.
- Handling a high volume of client communications, ensuring timely responses to all inquiries.
