Teach and Inspire the Next Generation

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-teach and create an engaging classroom environment that fosters mastery and encourages academic discourse.
  • Teach reading and writing skills, including phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension.
  • Develop and implement a Social Studies curriculum that promotes cultural and civic awareness.
  • Partner with students' families to ensure they have the resources they need to support their children's learning.
  • Support morning arrival, lunch duty, student assemblies, class transitions, and after-school dismissal.
  • Participate in weekly school-wide meetings to foster community and encourage student achievement.
Requirements:
  • A demonstrated commitment to supporting students' social-emotional and academic development.
  • A demonstrated interest in impacting K-12 students in urban schools and communities (1-2 years of experience preferred).
  • Academic expertise in Elementary Education, Humanities, English, Social Sciences, or other related fields of study.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
