Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Respond to Security Incidents: Respond to security and safety issues in a timely and effective manner, ensuring the safety of employees, guests, and assets.
  • Operate Security Systems: Monitor CCTV camera systems, operate facility badging software, and make periodic patrols to check for unsafe conditions and security violations.
  • Administer Access Control: Restrict access to confidential areas and administer client policies for controlling access to client property.
  • Communicate Effectively: Utilize internal communications systems, including radio, intercom, telephone, and computer-based software, to respond to security incidents and provide guidance to support staff.
  • Maintain Reporting and Documentation: Accurately complete and retain reporting documentation and logs to ensure compliance and accountability.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Security License: FL Security D license.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to multitask and deal with competing priorities.
  • Experience: Proven experience working as a dispatcher, cell center representative, and/or security command center operator.
