As an Aviation Maintenance Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft and providing top-level service to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads.
- Collaborate with field airlines, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair various transport category aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment.
- Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity in all maintenance activities.
- Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on analysis of test results while following maintenance manuals, schematics, handbooks, and other technical documentation.
- Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replace as required.
- Perform other duties as deemed necessary to support the maintenance operations.
- Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions.
- Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft is a plus.
- Previous experience on commercial and large regional aircraft is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Own set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated & specialty tooling will be provided).
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work standing, climb ladders and stairs, and lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Must pass a background check and drug & alcohol test. Must also obtain customs & border patrol clearance.
- Basic-to-mid-level computer and organizational skills.
- Experience working under an FAA approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 experience is highly desired.
- Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems on aircraft airframes and engines, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Versatility and flexibility with the ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Superior customer focus, communication skills, and work ethic with a commitment to excellence.
- Competitive pay rates ranging from $36 to $40 per hour, based on experience.
- Yearly raises available upon evaluation.
