Aircraft Mechanic Job Description

FEAM Aero is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our Orlando, FL team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing line maintenance work on various customers' aircraft, ensuring all departing aircraft are safe and meet regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and airworthiness releases on aircraft, returning them to service within scope of approval.
  • Service, inspect, and maintain aircraft, engines, and associated components, meeting deadlines and performance goals.
  • Troubleshoot systems, disassemble, repair, and reassemble sections and components to maintain full functioning equipment.
  • Collaborate with air carrier's maintenance control center as required.
Requirements:
  • Current valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant License.
  • Aircraft technician with B737 experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in recent line maintenance, emphasizing troubleshooting, daily and turn checks, and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk, and utilize hand and finger dexterity, climb, balance, bend, or crawl, occasionally from heights in precarious places.
  • Ability to frequently lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to read and write English.
  • Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Customer-facing skills, ability to work with the flight crew and interact in a professional manner.
  • Independent and self-motivated, with the ability to work without direct supervision.
