Job Title: Commercial Aircraft Maintenance Lead

Vale Group is seeking an experienced Commercial Aircraft Maintenance Lead to join our team in Orlando, FL. As a key member of our maintenance operations team, you will be responsible for managing maintenance operations for commercial aircraft, troubleshooting systems, and ensuring strict compliance with safety and maintenance protocols.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Flight Operations and Quality Control to resolve maintenance issues
  • Supervise maintenance personnel and provide technical guidance for troubleshooting
  • Ensure all maintenance is performed per company manuals and procedures
  • Update and maintain the Maintenance Controller Log with accurate aircraft status
  • Coordinate the procurement and allocation of necessary parts and tooling
  • Communicate current aircraft status to relevant departments and recommend repair priorities
  • Monitor delays and ensure timely reporting and documentation of discrepancies
Requirements:
  • Possess a valid FAA Mechanic Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) rating
  • Minimum of three years of maintenance experience on large aircraft for an air carrier
  • Completion of all necessary initial and recurrent training to fulfill job duties
  • Ability to utilize technical manuals with strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous leadership experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with an ability to work under pressure
  • FCC license preferred
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting repetitive maintenance items
