Job Summary

Empire Auto Parts, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk to support the daily operations of our distribution center. This role is responsible for receiving and verifying expense reports, reconciling financial reports, and facilitating payment of vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receives and verifies expense reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Reconciles financial reports with account balances and office records
  • Facilitates payment of vendors, including verification of federal ID numbers and review of purchase orders
  • Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment and identifies discount opportunities
  • Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash
  • Calculates and reports sales tax based on paid invoices
  • Provides excellent customer service via phone and resolves inquiries

Requirements:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software programs
  • High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years old
